Dr. Steven Tinlin, Louisville Chiropractor

Louisville Chiropractor

Dr. Steve Tinlin is a native of South Bend, Indiana and a proud Purdue Boilermaker alumnus. He began his chiropractic career in early 2015 as a graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In 2016, he joined the clinical staff at Mueller Chiropractic where he earned practical experience and counsel from a veteran chiropractor and local legend, Dr. Craig Mueller. In September 2020, Dr. Tinlin ascended to the role of clinical director and owner of Tinlin Chiropractic, committed to providing the same patient-centered care that the retiring Dr. Mueller began delivering in 1983.

The fundamental premise that Dr. Tinlin subscribes to is the innate ability of the body to heal itself if the proper environment is established. He was amazed by the unique relationship between the brain and the body and how disrupting that connection made people vulnerable to dis-ease. He queries every patient and works to find where potential interference is being harbored in order to locate and eliminate it. Dr. Tinlin is committed to helping his patients heal effectively by formulating an accurate diagnosis via a thorough history, detailed evaluation, and the utilization of state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. His goal is to help people get off chronic use of prescription drugs whenever possible and to help avoid surgery if he can. Dr. Tinlin wants to help people live longer and function optimally for as long as possible.

In his time away from the practice, he loves spending time with his family. His beautiful wife Elizabeth, is a nurse at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Together they have a beautiful daughter named Palmer, as well as two beloved dogs: Bane and Stella. Dr. Tinlin has fell in love with the unique culture of Kentucky and enjoys reading, sports, card and board games, and being active outdoors whether it be hiking, intramurals, sporting events, or concerts. One of the best experiences of his life was when he was in chiropractic school when he had the incredible opportunity to travel to Brazil through a student clinic work program. During his time there, he was able to treat many different people with various clinical presentations. It was a very rewarding and extremely humbling experience as he was able to deliver the gift of chiropractic to the under-privileged world.

Whether you are new to the services provided by a Doctor of Chiropractic or you are familiar with the benefits of chiropractic and are seeking someone to help you, rest assured, Dr. Steve Tinlin will put your needs and concerns first. If he can help you, he will tell you. If he cannot, he’ll give you his very best recommendation to find a solution. In short, Dr. Tinlin is truly a doctor for the people!
