Dr. Steven Tinlin, Louisville Chiropractor

Louisville Chiropractor

Why I Chose Chiropractic
I chose chiropractic because it respected the body as an integrated whole, and not as just a bunch of random parts. I was taught to consider both how a person arrived at a state of poor health and how they could become vital again, naturally! I chose a career in chiropractic because I was amazed by the unique relationship between the brain and the body and how disrupting that connection made people vulnerable to dis-ease. I chose chiropractic because I thought it would be a good use of my skills to be in the life extension and disease prevention business! I want to help people get off chronic use of prescription drugs whenever possible and to help avoid surgery if I can. I want to help people live longer and function optimally for as long as possible.

If you choose to seek my service, I’ll promise you in advance that I will do all I can to help you regain and maintain your health. If I determine that your condition is beyond my abilities, I’ll help you find the person you need!

Career of a Lifetime
I left my childhood home in South Bend, Indiana to pursue a Bachelors of Arts degree in Movement & Sport Science, with a focus on Biology, Kinesiology, and Biomechanics at Purdue University. Upon graduation, I investigated the concepts, philosophy, and methods Doctors of Chiropractic used. What I learned fascinated me and I scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor my father knew. He evaluated me extensively, explained his findings and gave me my first adjustment. I felt rejuvenated, well-balanced, taller, and slept extremely well that night. I went on to shadow him in his office for several days and after I observed so many others enjoying renewed health without drugs through the principles of chiropractic care, I knew that was a career that I wanted to dedicate my life to.

The Power Of Chiropractic

What I found so intriguing about the contribution chiropractic was making on a person’s health was the emphasis on the interrelationship between the spine, the brain, nervous system and the body. From the first spinal adjustment which restored a man’s hearing in 1895 up to today, doctors of chiropractic strive to liberate the inborn healing power of the body rather than chase symptoms.

My training at Purdue was the ideal foundation for my future training at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa and I am delighted and excited to be utilizing that training in a facility where we strive to get to the root cause of what is preventing a person from enjoying vibrant health. Furthermore, we put our patients first by recommending other professionals when we find our particular skills or procedures are not bringing about the best results.

On A Personal Note

In my spare time, I like to visit with family and friends and explore new areas with my beloved dog, Bane, a chocolate Labrador retriever. I enjoy reading mostly on matters related to chiropractic, along with the occasional novel. I also like to watch a good movie, catch up on new TV series, trying new things, exercising, and many different outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. I am a huge sports fan and am loyal to my teams of the Indianapolis Colts, Ohio State, and of course, my Purdue Boilermakers. One of the best experiences of my life was when I had the opportunity to take a clinic abroad trip to Brazil. During the short time I was there, I was able to treat many different people with various clinical presentations. It was an extremely rewarding experience as I witnessed first-hand the gift that I was giving to these under-privileged people. They were very grateful for my services and they fully appreciated and understood the benefits of chiropractic care.

I am excited to serve the Louisville/St. Matthews community and I look forward to working with and learning under the tutelage and 30+ years of experience of Dr. Mueller! I fully understand and appreciate the power of the chiropractic skill set and the knowledge that encompasses it. One of the best quotes I hold true to my heart was said by the premier chiropractic pioneer B.J. Palmer, “For you have in your possession a sacred trust. Guard it well.”

I pledge to each and every patient that I will do my absolute best to help them, and if I can’t, then I will do everything I can to find someone who can. I look forward to serving you soon! Call Mueller Chiropractic today!
